Hand Painted Drums
Drums currently available to buy
The drums for sale are Remo Buffalo drums which are inspired by the frame drums of Native American Cultures. They're synthetic and unaffected by temperature and humidity so can be used in any weather condition, their pitch still sounding great. Beat near the centre of the drum for deep pitches or at the edge for higher pitch. Size 14” diameter shell by 3.5” deep, with rope suspension across the back, soft tipped mallet is included.
After painting the drum is sealed, cleansed and blessed. Whilst every effort is made to ensure the paintwork is of high standard and sealed, it’s a working tool and you must expect marks to appear over a period of time; that said, I have been merrily banging my drum regularly for over a year (I go wild with it!) and the painting has not suffered at all.

Snake Snake symbolises transformation and healing, lying in the south of the medicine wheel, the place of emotion. It's fire medicine; the medicine of transmutation. Snake awakens creative forces and sharpens intuition as well as signalling life transitions bringing new opportunities. Currently on display at Moontree Gallery, Boscombe.

Archive Designs
All Tracey Jane drum designs are unique and I will only paint them once. I will however adapt or change a design if you fall in love with it, but requests for repeat designs will be declined. Buy or commission a drum from me and you are guaranteed not to bump into anyone else with the same drum!
